Default Help identify inner fairing

Hey gang,

I have a 2012 Streetglide. At the Harley shop yesterday, I saw a really cool inner fairing. It's black and looks metal. That's all I know of it. I couldn't find it in on the Harley website.

Can anyone identify this? A part number will be perfect.

Thanks!

Guessing it's a standard inner that was coated to look like metal (i.e. painted, dipped, etc.). Did you ask @ the dealer what it was???

You hit it on the nose! Just called the stealership and they said that the inner fairing is painted a high gloss to give the metal appearance. They also said that alot of folks are going that route. Finally, it's $549.95 for the paint job. Guess my inner fairing won't be painted. lol

R&R the inner fairing youself and save some BIG bucks. Once I got the inner fairing off and over to the painter it cost $225.00 to get it painted complete and it was painted Black Pearl. So gloss black can't cost any more.

Guy in jacksonville FL does them for $300 installed in an hour. You do nothing but pay him. He brings the painted inner and does it right there. Some guys in ATL are working on a group deal and he is driving up to do them all.

His work is perfect. He's done 3 of my SG's.
