Got my VThunder 850-1 lifters installed and did 3 full turn on the SE tapered push rods and now the engine sounds like it should without the tapping and ungodly top end noise it was making with the stock lifters and the push rods adjusted at 2 1/2 turns. Maybe the 3 turns on the stock lifters would have done the same but now I know I have American made lifters in there compared to the Mexican ones that came stock. Before you ask, Dawg says the stock lifters are made in Mexico and that's that.....
