This is horrible. I'm up here in Wisconsin with snow outside my window and all this talk about Power Vision MAPs is driving me crazy. I want to go for a ride and play with my PV soooo bad. Hell, it's not even January yet; what a long winter this is going to be.
Well I don't have snow here in Louisiana, but I have an ultra setting on the rack with no pistons, cylinders and heads on it. I have a brand new PV setting on my desk and nothing to do till the first week of Januaray when I get my heads back from Big Boyz. There is only so much you can do with the PV setting at the desk. I can't even hook it up to the bike since EVERYTHING is disconnected and waiting for the finished top end job! The good news is I will still not have any snow in January so I will be able to ride and play when I get it all put back together.
I was crazy, but took a ride a few weeks ago on the bike, temp was 36 degrees. No heated gear but layered the clothes. PowerVision worked awesome.
With the stress of the holiday near, mother in law coming to town always ratchets the stress level up and how...... I'd really like to be able to ride a long way, to warm country, just to get away from the casual chaos pending for mother in law arrival.
Got beer, Whiskey, and what not, . but to ride would be the deal. Gotta love the turmoil of holidays.
I like Jamie and the Brians, I bought my Vision from Fuel-Moto and would do so again but I didn't get any of this Kool-Aid that everyone is talking about. Any chance I could get some Scotch instead?
I just got a nasty gram on Roadglide Forum for asking this..So, here goes.
I understand Fuel Moto has great Customer Service. However, I can get the Power Vision for $400 (from Direct Cycle Parts .com) vs their $500 price tag. IS there
any reason to go with Fuel Moto and pay the extra $100?????
Yep absolutely is, lifetime customer support including maps and all questions asked by a top notch establishment. After spending thousands on your bike why skim a 100 bucks and give up this kind of service?
i dont give a **** if FM has the best service in the entire world. $100 is $100. and you can get canned maps from Dynojet as well. you gotta remember how many people drink the FM koolaid and feel the need to support them no matter what. im pretty sure jamie and his crew are doing well up there in WI
besides, canned maps are just that - canned. every motor has different variables and if you want the best performance, get it tuned on a dyno. my canned map from FM was decent enough so the bike would run, but way off in certain cells and had some popping and throttle lag at lower rpms. we threw some fuel at the cells, worked out the AFR, and boom, bitch runs like a raped ape.
What's with the tirade? It's $100 LOL. ****, that's the new $20 bill these days. Don't buy from FM then, hell I would pay $200 for the service I have received.
To Fuelmoto, keep doing what you do you obviously can't please everyone. I love that your are just a phone call or email or forum post away and never seem to be in a hurry to push me off the phone. You took your time and answered everything I needed to know every time I called, thanks.
IMO very hard to come across this kind of service these days and I'll GLADLY pay for it.

well that's a lot of money. $200 buys pushrods, gaskets, groceries, diapers, etc. im glad they continue to provide great customer service
I emailed Jamie wanted to know if the power vision was all I needed. Sorry I am a noob to Harley's wanted to make sure before I ordered one for $500.00 and got an email back that I could call them? That was my only question and it could not be answered? So I will ask here is the Power Vision all I need?
