Power Vision
I just got a nasty gram on Roadglide Forum for asking this..So, here goes.
I understand Fuel Moto has great Customer Service. However, I can get the Power Vision for $400 (from Direct Cycle Parts .com) vs their $500 price tag. IS there
any reason to go with Fuel Moto and pay the extra $100?????
Thanks for ALL the Replies that were relevant.

They're customer service is easily worth the extra money. Just search fuelmoto on here and see the kind of service they give to their customers.
DynoJet has great customer service also, and will back up your purchase from any vendor. They will help you with tech support and maps. They helped me zero in my tune to perfection.
So that $100 can go for other stuff. DynoJet will take care of you. After all, it's their product.
No disrespect to Fuel Moto, but, before I bought my Power Vision, I sent an e-mail question to them and to DynoJet. DynoJet answered within 2 hours. Fuel Moto took over a week to reply.
It's possible there were circumstances beyond their control for the delay in responding..... but, I was ready to order, and the quick reply from the manufacturer sealed the deal. So I bought from Direct Cycle Parts.
A canned map will get you close........ but it may still need to be tweaked. DynoJet support is first rate.

If you're going to have to then go and pay someone else to tune it, then the savings is obviously not worth it. FuelMoto will tune it for you, and as others have said, their customer service is second to none. I know from personal experience.
If it comes tuned, and you have to pay to have it tuned again later when you make other changes to your setup, then the savings is still not worth it.

i dont give a **** if FM has the best service in the entire world. $100 is $100. and you can get canned maps from Dynojet as well. you gotta remember how many people drink the FM koolaid and feel the need to support them no matter what. im pretty sure jamie and his crew are doing well up there in WI
besides, canned maps are just that - canned. every motor has different variables and if you want the best performance, get it tuned on a dyno. my canned map from FM was decent enough so the bike would run, but way off in certain cells and had some popping and throttle lag at lower rpms. we threw some fuel at the cells, worked out the AFR, and boom, bitch runs like a raped ape.

First and foremost we have helped Dynojet design Power Vision, from its inception right up thru current features like Auto Tune. We work with Dynojet directly as a technical parner, we help develop the product and this allows for unmatched product knowledge and hands on experience which we pass on to our customers. We specialize in tuning products, our staff helps customers all day with questions and support before and after the sale.
Secondly, we have a huge database of Power Vision maps we have developed in house. We have spent in the hundreds if not thousands of hours developing maps, switching components such as exhausts and cams, and have purchased a handful of bikes for this purpose over the last several years. Simply put we have a huge investment in our map database. We offer these maps to our customers at no charge.
Third, we offer a double warranty and unlimited product support. Having an issue flashing your map or a question on the software? getting some pinging or decel popping? No problem, we offer support to the highest degree. We know the product inside and out and we have more PV tuning experience than anyone, we can email revised maps, we can analyze data logs, or if necessary we can even link to your computer remotely and control the your WinPv software.
Hope this info help and we appreciate the great feedback and support on HDF
