Do you have Power Vision from Fuel Moto? what map do you have? tell me a bit more about your setup. I do not know what we did to offend you, however I have seen several posts from you about Fuel Moto Koolaid and such, what's going on?
not really a dig at you guys, just way too many people who blindly follow the herd on this forum without much or any experience.
ive bought from FM before, but as great as your customer service may be, my point was that its not worth $100.
any issues i have with FM are personal and not meant for a forum. if they bothered me enough, i would talk to you about it directly. keep doin your thing, you have carved a great market and the industry needs it. i will say that you all managed to take a lot of guesswork out of building motors for the average rider. to the people out there who can read dyno sheets, your website can be a big help.

Thank you for the feedback, are you running a Fuel Moto Power Vision and map?
I did full stage 1 with FM parts, PV, PV Mount and a spare AC for 930.00 during the 100 off for over $1000.00 sale. I knew I would have amazing support if I had any hiccups during the self-install. I was very comfident due to everything I have seen here that I would start with a tune that would only get slightly better if I paid the money for a dyno tune. I have installed with no issues, Runs great, and a smile on my face! Is that worth $100. YEP!!!!!!!!! No Stess, no waisted time, back on the road quickly. In my book cheap is not always inexpensive!
There will always be those that are going to find a better price but then try to weasel support out of the other guys. Hope they don't cause the good support guys to go out of buisness. Cause then they are left with the support of the cheap guys!
No disrespect to Fuel Moto, but, before I bought my Power Vision, I sent an e-mail question to them and to DynoJet. DynoJet answered within 2 hours. Fuel Moto took over a week to reply.
In defense of FM, they are a small shop, much smaller than Dyno Jet. They say right on their web site that its best to call them. Sometimes its better just to pick up the phone.

I would have..... but I was on vacation in South Dakota, visiting relatives at the Rosebud reservation, and I didn't take my phone, so the morons at work couldn't interrupt my vacation, like they always do.
Used my laptop to send an e-mail asking if the Power Vision would stop my bike from pinging from the low octane gas that I was finding out in the boonies. Reservation gas is horrible. The one station (unattended self service) in Mission, way North, that has good gas had screwed up card readers, so 87 octane, and ethanol was the best I could get. I needed the tuner ASAP. That's the reason I bought it where I did.

On the support side our all new Fuel Moto website that launches next week now features Live Chat which allows individuals to connect to our sales or tech support staff in real time. This should really help with email traffic as during peak season we receive several hundred emails a day. We also now will have full e-commerce on the site with over 5,000 part numbers.
I drove from Detroit area to Fuel Moto to have my 107 Big Bore Kit and power Vision installed. They were FANTASTIC people and did a great job on my 2009 Street Glide. The bike runs awsome. I made a 1000mi round trip just to have the pros work on my bike and I couldn't be happier. I would do it again in a heart beat. No koolaid required LOL.
From my experience, and with doing some research, and picking up the phone to contact FM, I will say that it has always been a positive experience. On a few occasions, I spoke to Jamie and he was great to talk with, and answered my questions.
Because I was looking for first rate support, and a first rate tuner, ( I had a T- Max on my 07 FLSTF - for three years, thanks but no. ) I decided to go with the PV.
Having a vendor supporting you, when you have need of assistance from them and their ability to actually link to your PC and use your winpv software is really outstanding.
I did not drink any freaking cool-aid to decide to buy my PV and cams from FM, i wanted a solid product, solid support from the vendor, and a vendor with all the skills and technical ability to correct an issue should one come up, not to mention being able to tweak my map and make corrections as needed.
Also, if someone has an issue with a vendor, do your part and make some calls, and send some e-mails to try and remedy your issue. Don't whine because you did not pursue your issue with diligence on your part, or to allow the vendor to do all they could for you.
