Does anyone know if this will work on a 2007 Road King. I thought I read that they do not, but the catalogue says works for 04 and up. I would really like one.

^^^ My question exactly. I was looking at this speedometer a few months back and could've sworn that the description indicated that it wouldn't work for an 07 and yet this description indicates that it will. Has anyone installed this speedometer in an 07 that could confirm this?
I got this on ebay. I'm sure this style guage will work on your bike also. My bike is a 03 rkc. I can't remember the part number but you can get it through harley and have the odometer set for mileage on your bike.
I like the size of the tach on that one, what are the diff features not offered on the HD unit and is the fit sloppy like their reporting on the HD one?

Those things retailed at $500, had to have the mileage set at the dealer, and were problematic. Got a couple of buds that junked theirs after they repeatedly had problems with them. This newer model is supposed to be far better with a better track record.
And btsom, nobody really cares if you like tachometers or not.
I got one. I like it. It does take a little getting used to, though. I had an Electra Glide with the large tach before this one and of course you can read in increments of 100 fairly easy. This smaller does the job - I usually shift between 3,000 and 3,500 RPM and I can see that alright.

It IS another point of view related to the OP's question which he might not have thought about otherwise. Additionally, he is totally free to disregard it. I'll be sure to check with you before I post anything else. Not.
I have one also, but am wondering if anyone has tried to reset the colors after setting it th first time.I tried to change it but couldnt
Easy to do. Hold the trip reset button then turn the ignition switch to the accessory position. You can then cycle through all the options. To change that option, turn the ignition to off then back to accessory fast. Once you have it set, turn ignition off then back to accessory and it will be set.
