I know one thing about that seat (other than it looks really good) its very expensive!! 850.00
not sure what you're looking at. i bought the cvo seat for my bike. did not buy the passenger pillion, but the seat itself cost me in the neighborhood of $235 shipped. i know i didn't include the pillion in the pricing, but i don't think its $600.....
and for me, this is a great seat. my wife has a corbin, and while it is comfortable for riding, it does raise me up a little, making it difficult for me to reach the ground comfortably. the cvo seat, while not quite as comfortable, does give me more reach. and i've yet to ride to the point that i can just absolutely, positively, not get on the bike again. done 600 mile days, no problem. i would do a ss1000 if i was planning on it, but done that, don't feel the need to do it again for no reason.
the seat I priced was on a cvo 110th anny road glide. bike. seat looked great!! felt good at least for the few minutes I sat in it, had the parts guy look it up and told me 800.00 bucks! I can get a custom seat made for a little more, and will be perfect for what I want. I passed. I don't know if these are two different seats we're talking about. I haven't checked price at another dealer, so maybe I got told the wrong price
thanks everyone....I am looking for a new seat and allso going on a 7000mile trip next summer so comfort is a must.......think I will stick to stock for now.......I love the stock seat just the water issue......

thats probably the difference. the 110th badging... my seat was the 2012 version. oh, and i didn't pay full dealer retail either.....
thats not the seat I got a quote for at all. but that is a nice seat
can you show a pic of the seat you are looking at? looking at the hd website, it shows the cvo rg with the same seat that myself and piesik650 have. albeit without the passenger pillion. the only other seats i see that would fit a touring model are for the road king, and the ultra. so the cvo roadglide seat has the diamond stitching, the road king has the rectangular stitching, and the ultra has a one piece 2 up seat.
