I put a bunch of miles on my se heated seat (exactly like yours) and it never really got "easy" to remove or install. Like yours, it always seemed too long to fit, but it was damn sure snug once bolted on. Mine seemed like it moved me too close to the bars, and at 6'5" it wasn't a great fit for me. Unloaded it on eBay for $350.00

Well the seat is a tight fit thats for sure. I am use to the Stock seat even tho after riding a Fatboy Softail for years I too was feeling that the seat sat me too far forward. As this is my first Ultra Classic, the feeling of sitting on the fuel tank was something I had to get use too. Was going to buy a Mustang seat, which I have on my softail but some say that it sat them up and forward. So buying another Stock seat but heated was ok. I am 5.9 with a 30 inch inseam, so closer to the ground the better for me
