Picked out a color that you never see on a bike, Brown.
Had a Black n White FLHTP, had all the black redone in 2012 Ford SD Golden Bronze w gold pearl, and white w/gold pearl shot over the top. Turned out great! Local Rod Shop did a wonderful job! Even he was impressed as to the flip-flop that the g-pearl did on the brown.
I've got to get it all back together yet, hopefully by NYE so I can go for a New Years Day Ride!
Got a couple of photos, but it is of the parts in the truck bed. They really don't do her justise, and it will look even better together and on the bike!
When I get it back together, I'll post a few shots of the one and only "Bourbon-Glide"!
I'll post some photos, but you cannot take pictures of pearl, I've tried.
If you see a Brown & White E-Glide w "1792" on the tank, It's ME!
Had one of the best pinstrippers in the country do the pinstripping, while he was there, had him do the "1792" on the tank. Kinda wishing that the 1792 was in gold, but it ain't.
What you want to bet that the Factory is offering Brown & White as a color combo within two years? Bastards have been copying me for years, I'm just a couple of steps ahead! Shovel painted purple & silver in 99, riding beside a 2000 FB in the same in 2000, 02 RK painted white w gold pearl w brown & yellow flames in 04, H-D came out with white with gold pearl in 04.
In 09' there was a Fatboy special color that was rootbeer and something brown. Didn't sound too good but after I saw one in person, I regretted not waiting for one.
