YESSSSS, the ABS by itself is worth it and having the piece of mind that your bike will at least make some noise before someone tries to steal it makes it that much better. Realize that no matter what you do, if someone wants your bike they will make off with it.

I think its a now brainer. You get a major safety upgrade and a nice alarm with FOB.

It would be a positive one day when you sell/trade as well.

I wouldn't "not" buy a bike that I liked if it didn't have it. BUT if I had the choice of a brand new bike all things the same, I would do Security and ABS.

Had I had a choice, no. The security is ok and ABS impresses everybody at insurance and resale time. It sure is nice in a crew cab dually on ice, let the computer pump, it won't stop anyway.

For the money you can not go wrong. It will lower your insurance rate and increase your resale value. Oh yea, your safety also.

I believe ABS is more important on a bike than a car. I have only had one crash on a bike and if I had ABS, I would not have crashed. Even the most skilled rider will bebefit from the safety ABS provides.

They're worth it to me. I wasn't sold on ABS until recently and security is just a bonus. You will still need the smart siren II to maximize the system. The ABS makes a big difference under certain circumstances and they will definitely help with resale.

i'm not a fan of abs, but in order to get the security system, it's now a package and can't get one without the other. so i'm stuck with mushy brakes on my '13 roadglide ultra. i'm getting used to the abs, but i really prefer the direct connection that the non abs brakes provide. each to their own.
