Well I also have the 204's and If I'm on the freeway in the fast lane running 80 or so when I twist the throttle my bike does not feel 500 Lbs heavier I assure you of that. I have seen over 120mph and it had more in it.
Not trying to get in a mph thing but the 204 does pull from bottom to top real good but I think the TW222's area great cam as well. As I have said before they have the same intake closing as the 204's.
Jamie recently dynoed a 96" with TW222's and they made 96hp and 106tq I think. I have seen the 204's at 94hp and 104tq. And the 204's have a awesome Idle. Don't know how the 222's Idle.

So I'm wondering just how good are these new 222 woods cams?? I have 12 street glide with DD boss cat, thunder max and zippers air cleaner! Bike goes pretty well but I need some more power! Enjoy the highway and open roads.Spend lots of time in the White mountains! I just got rid of a zippers 120 Road Glide that was pulling 132 horse and 132 foot pounds of torque. After some thought I figured it was time to slow it down a little. The 103 goes well for me but...... I need some more. Im hoping a cam change will do it for me. A cam lifters and pushrods will cost me 12 to 15 hundred.. a 107 kit with decent heads will run me about 3000 to 3500 . Posted dyno sheets on this site and others show anywhere from 92 to 99 horse and up to 114 115 in torque for this cam.Does it run out of steam quickly??? Seems to come on early enough which is very cool but a good 107 Tman Fuel moto etc will only run anywhere from 108 to 115 or maybe 118 horse and 115 to 123 foot pounds of torque. These are posted sheets and obviously best case runs.. Is the extra 2000 in cash worth it ???? Ive had all the power in the 120, just looking to be able to pass and run the highway without running out of steam at 100mph.....so any real reviews on this cam by anyone who runs there bike a little hard... Spoke with Bob Wood in june and he suggested the 777 ....question is will I be too soft on the bottom end with this ?????? Meaning less than I have now ??? thoughts ??
LOL Here you go again. I have a feeling these questions popped up right before you wound up with 132 horse and 132 foot pounds of torque last time.
If ya don't want to run out steam at 100mph on a tourer ya need more than just a cam. Sure ya many climb higher but there won't be any "pull" to it. I'm running stock heads in my 103 at 10-1 and Andrews 54h (very close to woods 555). It pulls pretty good from 2300-2500 to about 95mph but starts getting lazy above that (I come from sport bikes). While ya may think ya want bottom end, ya won't get 100+mph power without some rpm and HP out of a 103/107 in a heavy tourer. Can't have it both ways.
Maybe I'm older or just missing something, why would you want to go 100MPH or faster on a touring bike?? I had my V-Rod for the 0 to 60 blasts but now I want low to mid range torque in my SG (SE 255 cams) and if I never hit 90mph again it surely would not bother me. But just like our bikes, we are all different in what we want out of life so if you want to go 100mph+, just make sure your life insurance is paid up for your family.

+1 I think a 100mph will put you about 25-30 over most speed limits. That would be a hell of a ticket lol
