Who cares!!! if it looks good, promotes something you like, I say buy it and wear it with pride.
I do.
I though Bikers didn't give a toss what anyone though, I sure don't....
Too damn long in the tooth for that crap now hehe!! and never did subscribe to it hehe!
i have a bunch of the mechanic shirts. wear them instead of jacket if its warm enough. they are well built cause anything else at 70 mph is junk after 1 ride. I still have the first one my wife bought me 5 years ago... expensive but they last. wish more stuff was made like that now days...
I went to HD here in Doha Qatar recently and was disappointed the only sizes they had were S,M, and XXXL...and those were tie dye shirts! Hopefully they get some in before I come back to the states.
Only problem I see is the HD thin flannel shirts costing $65+ because it has HD written on it. Same shirt at Boscov's, Walmart, K-Mart, etc. costs $14.99 maybe....
I was shopping for a black HD flannel/solid button down shirt to wear in the spring/summer months but after seeing those prices, I shopped on line and found a black leather nylon lined button down shirt for $58 shipped. Needless to say, it's hanging in my closet right now.
I have a few of the shop shirts. Good stuff and well made. I especially like the button down collar with the hidden buttons. I have a couple of Dickies shirts I wear but when I am going down the road about 55, the collar will wear my neck out so I have to tuck in.
Some of the stuff is a little pricy but it is good quality. Also for me it helps that my daughter works at the Closest dealer to me so if I really want something I have her get it with her discount. Also you can check e-bay. House of Harley sells all their old stuff on there. Only problem with that is them actually having the right size.
I like the button down collar mechanic shirts, square cut at the bottom and well made. A bit pricey here in Canada though, usually pick them up when we are in the good 'ol USA as they are about 30% cheaper. If you love it, wear it, who cares what anyone else thinks!
