Plus 1 on the Ram mount for any system. I use a 6 in extention on the Ultra to be able to get around the fairing with my camera.
Mount purchased from Touratech in Seattle.

I never use a tether with the RAM mount. just torque it down and fuggettaboutit.

Clint55 this is a great setup - wish I would have done something like that. I recorded my ride on the Tail of the Dragon last Aug. using a harness that mounted the camera on my chest. Not bad for clarity but I like your setup better.
