I have read a few threads on carbon fiber helmets and most are very positive. I am thinking about calling these people next week and ordering, but want to know the latest opinions and info from the users here on the forum. I have not decided yet if I will order the DOT or the nonDOT.
Give me some info, thoughts or opinions before I make this purchase. Thanks.

I've had one of their non-DOT helmets for about 2 years now and I love it. It is super strong, fits great, not heavy or imposing, and I actually feel safe wearing it.
If they made the DOT helmet in my size, I would order one of them for sure.
awesome helmets, I would highly recommend. also they give you 10% off if you tell them you are HD froums member. Best dot helmet out there, lowest profile and the lightest. You will not be disappointed.
I saw an interesting program on one of the science channels with a segment about helmet construction. The newer helmet shells have the ability to flex and distort without breaking and the liner is designed with "crush zones" to absorb the speed ofa head impact reducing the collision of the brain and skull. I don't know the title of the program.
I haven't looked at helmets for a quite a few years but I willbe loooking for these features when I buy one.
there isn't that much price difference between the 2 and if your gonna spend over a $100.00 might just as well buy the dot version and avoid tickets! i myself am planning on stopping in at their factory in the next couple of weeks when i'm in fla. and hopefully can pickup one while i'm there!! they have real good reviews about their helmets![sm=goodidea.gif]
You wont be disapointed, And good to work with, They sent me one and the straps wernt even, I called them they overnighted me a new one with a sticker to send the bad one back. No questions asked. I have the DOT Natural and its as light as my plastic Skid lid.
I just ordered one and its great looking and feels no different on then the novelty i was wearing. The only thing i noticed is a large size helmet in every other line does not match their large. I wear a large on every brand but their fells a bit more snug or smaller even with the smallest liner in. So they tend to run small i suspect. I would have rather had the larger helmet with more pads for comfort (even thou i dont see a size online larger then the large). I will still wear it next season and I bet it starts fitting better the more i wear it.
