I run a set of K3P, love them!! I have the the mid in the fairing and the mid bass in the lowers, only problem is 4 large crossovers to hide in fairing and they like lots of power. I have used Boston's in the past and our a good speaker. But I love Focals , have krx 3's in my truck and full custom Utopia in my car so I'm a little bias.

Just installed Focal PC 165s and I love them. Just put them on this winter but after hearing many different speakers out there I like these the best. That being said going down the road at 70 mph I am not sure how much difference that makes but I am more particular about my speakers.

Kesean, I have the BA 4x6 speakers above my radio firing into the windshield reflecting right back to me have had them since 09, second set out in last year only because I blew one showing out one night.....remaining speakers are all Hertz... Bottom line I would not be afraid of pulling trigger on the BA SPEAKERS....I am in Texas and yes they have all gotten wet without any problems... Hope this helps.

I saw that you used two spacers mounting them. What length screws did you use if you can remember back that far?
