Getting 2 into 1 D & D's installed with the loud baffles. I am going for that deep, throaty, loud rumble and this is what the service guy lead me to. Wanted to know if anyone that has these, are these going to be too loud on long trips or had them and ended up going with the quieter baffle?
Also too, the service guy said I would get 20 HP going with the stage 1 kit and this type of set up as far as 2 into 1 from stock everything and slip on Screamin Eagles. That seems A lot to me. If I had to guess I would say 8-10 HP. Anyone with this set up; what king of HP increase did you get?
I have the D&Ds with standard baffle plenty loud for me, love them.

I've got the same setup on a 12 FLHTK with 254e cams. You're not going to get 20HP gain with a stage 1, especially not from a dealer. love the sound of the pipes although they can get loud when getting on it. I gained roughly 8HP with the AC and pipe upgrade. The rest came from the cam upgrade. I would take the bike to someone who knows how to tune it with one of the better FULL tuning devices. SEPST, TTS, PV. A lot of experienced tuners (not dealers) will tune 90% of your engine in closed loop using smaller bungs and then the remaining 10% in open loop using larger bungs if available so if you've got both that's a huge plus for you and your tuner.

Not so much the HP increase on the 2-1 as it is the low end torque. I had a stage 1 on my stock 96" and was getting 93 pounds of torque...
