This past week-end I bought a complete exhaust off a 2013 Road King CVO.Head pipes,heat shields,and mufflers,never had a gas fume pass through them,for $100.Not sure what I'm gonna do with it,but I just couldn't help myself.I had to buy something.
Feeling your pain...have the ultra in pieces for paint, powder coat and cam install. Lots of snow on the ground here and salt on the roads. Don't anticipate any riding until at least April. Gonna be a loooooong winter!
I love Alaska but damn its been a long winter.....The bike is clean, clean , clean....New seat and back rest added, and I am looking at adding new head pipes in the next few months before riding season....
Winter sucks more as you get older...Up until 2 years ago, I used to snowmobile and that would help the time go by...but I have REALLY felt the cold the last few years and with the lack of ridable snow in the Northeast, my interest in snowmobiling has waned. I've gotten rid of my sleds and now look at the calendar and hope for an early spring.
One thing you guys in the cold have going for you is you don't have an excuse not to work on your bike and make it unique. Some of ya'lls bikes look amazing. But then I put a nice 114 miles on mine yesterday. Was 35ş when the kick stand went up and 50ş when it went down. Going to be another nice day today before the much need rain MIGHT come tomorrow. Can't make up my mind to go for another ride or wash the bugs off today.

This is easy, fullsac header fits under the heat shields, and the full sac CVO muffler cores with 2" baffles, done deal, great exhaust setup.
My bank account stops me from buying stuff. I'd LOVE a set of V&H staggered shorts but the cost is stopping me...and my bank account. And I really NEED a sissy bar more than anything. Again, bank account.

I wish, i had your problems.....
Been trying to talk my wife into moving down south somewhere. Since she's US citizen, it wouldn't be hard for us. But no...she likes Canada.....damn
Long MN winter here. I will be painting the RK this winter denim black and was hoping to also add apes. Kid is home from college and I get "oh yeah Dad, I need $600 for such-and-such"...there go the apes!
