Default Windshield Screws

I know a few riders with touring bikes that have had the screws that hold the windshield in place fall out. The cause is the metal tube in the plastic in the fairing that gets loose and comes out. Harley has come out with a bigger metal tube to replace the OEM tube. The new tube has a thicker gauge thread. And suggestions on how to bond the metal tube to the plastic in the inner fairing?

Thanks in advance,
HOB NO1

Threaded insert repairs, I just screw them in using the windshield screws.

There is a nice thread on hear of how to repair with the replacement inserts. Do a search and I'm sure you will find it. Nice instructions on it.
