Think about it. Bad economy, noise laws passed and/or enforced. Almost every Harley is a fail. Low hanging fine fruit is every bike on the road. Maybe they get more money by impounding your scoot ? Either way it is coming and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it but pay the money. The near future could have no loud bikes and no guns especially the horrible "assault" ones. God Bless America, where your vote don't mean a fuc#, Obama healthcare, people on the fed tit everywhere and the middle class is the one really getting butt effed. Thank you all who voted for Obama, not that your votes or anyones really mattered

Thank to ABATE California Motorcyclist will get a watered down SB-435. I rember back in the 60's

The Federal Clean Air Act of 1963 is the reason they started putting pollution controls on cars. There was no Cal EPA in the 60's. There was a very non powerful Air Resources Board.
The Federal Clean Air Act of 1970 and the subsequent 1977, 1990 and 1997 amendments brought us to where we are today. Because of the air pollution problems in the LA Basin, California started requiring exhaust emission controls beginning on domestically produced vehicles in 1966. The rest of the country was already required to have exhaust emission controls in 1968. If you really want to place blame, look east.
Nearly every rule that California has imposed has been required by the USEPA. The states that already meet the air quality standards imposed by the feds do not have to impose the same rules. We barely got out of smogging bikes. The USEPA wanted it but we were able to trade it away. They have to smog check bikes in Arizona.

Please inform us about the cvo mufflers and what they have done for you and what your experience with them is or shut the f*ck up about obama and take that sh*t to the political section. Oh and faux is French for false. So I'm not really understanding what faux (false) news common sense means.

I hope that this isn't the scale tipping. I am stationed in Japan and every two years there is an inspection cars and bikes must go through and decibel reading on the bikes is one aspect of it. Save your stock parts! It turns into a big game of putting OEM stuff on your scoot and then change it back to how you like your ride after the inspection
