Simple green?
I tried it on a metric bike once and it put stains in my aluminum rims. Its an excellent degreaser and although its supposed to be bio-degradable, dont accidentally inhale the mist while working with it, not a great reaction from your lungs. I personally would use Dawn diluted in water with a med stiff brush. If you use it keep the mist away from rubber also stains it?

Used to use regular simple green in the USMC, but it is caustic and caused bearings to rust on the aircraft engines we overhauled. it was banned. I have has a motorcycle head bearings lock up, I believe due to that washing the grease out (pressure washer too, my bad). Now I use walmart orange cleaner and no hi pressure water
