I let mine run while I put on my gear. The colder the weather, the more gear, the longer the warm up.

Mines carbed, She won't move if She's cold. Raising the idle to warm Her up raises the oil pressure.

I start and go om my Limited. I always let my '98 Sporty warm up, but that bike has a carb and doesn't run well if it was cold.

Let mine warm up for about an hour before I head out. At least until I can see a slight red glow in the jugs....

Crank and go, even on the coldest days. Bike is stored at outside temperature.

1.5 miles to the main road and its 65 mph.

65,000 and no issues yet.

Great idea, you can cut down your warmup time by also checking your fuel level while your waiting with a match.
