Default Best front end lowering kit for 21in wheel on street glide

I am contemplating pulling the trigger on a 21in front wheel and run mystical chrome plated rear. I hear a lowering kit is recommended to maintain stock geometry also I plan on changing fender out. So what's everyone's recommendation on lowering kits and fenders? I want a good ride still considering I put on about7k a year. Btw I will be selling my chrome plated stock front with rotors and tire that has only a few hundred miles on tire

I lowered the rear end on my bike with the Road 6 lowering kit from ebay and I used Progressive monotubes up front. Overall, I'm real happy with how it rides.

I seem to read a lot about the progressive mono tubes, how much should I lower with the 21in wheel and stock rear wheel and shocks? I was thinking maybe an inch?

An inch seem sto be the standard with a 21". The mono tubes comes in a 1" lowered version and a standard height version. If you get a Progressive spring kit (or whatever brand you want) you can lower it up to 2". My personal opinion (not that it really matters) is that 1" is plenty. I always take into consideration that the more I lower the front end the less travel my forks will have. Travel will allow your forks to soak up bumps.

Are U not adding appx 1.5"(depending on tire sizes) when going to a 21 from an 18 as I did? With a SG or the RGC, both being 1" lower in the rear due to shorter rear shocks.
If I were tall enough i would just raise the back up to get to stock geometry and have better ground clearance. Short is cool looking, not so cool handling when hustling corners...

I also used progressive drop in kit to lower 1" and added ricor intiminators. Did the chrome front end at the same time. I just drilled the back holes of my fender and tilted it. If I were going to change and paint my fender I might think about a 23".

The Progressive Monotube lowered 1" is what we would recommend.

I droped mine 1 1/2" in the front with the progressive lowering kit... Air ride in the back so i can ride it low to the ground or when its time to hit the curves hit it with some air and ride it hard!! It rides smooth too... Fronmt fender is your personal choice... if ya wanna show more wheel get a wrap fender. If ya like the steched look get a streched fl fender its just kinda how ya want the bike to look...

I dropped mine 1 1/2' in the front with the Progressive Drop In kit, and 1" in the back. Rides great.
