Default what's this wire???? help fast
putting inner fairing back together but have this connector that we can't find the other end to. It's part of the throttle by wire assembly. It's not the green connector. ( I cut and soldered those wires) This is the black connector for that part. Does this wire go to anything or what's it for?

I'm 98% sure that is for heated grips. I left mine unplugged after apes install.

I agree, heated grips. You should have another female black connector with a black and white wire not hooked up as well. there are also red and black wires with same connectors. red/black goes to harness...blk/white connects grips together

It's just the connector if you purchase heated grips...relax.

Yes they are correct...Harley makes a key to fit in that harness to prevent from getting damaged.
