I know that with my '06 there was an injector problem where the bike would die. The MoCo swapped out the injectors. I think I had 8* injectors and the fix was a 25* injector.

yeah that was a recall.. had the same done to mine but I think that only pertained to early 06 models.
If it's only dieing at idle, I think I'd be looking inside the top of the throttle body (remove air cleaner and you'll see it) at the little hole there. Spray some carb cleaner or sensor cleaner up there while twisting the throttle back and forth until the fluid runs clear. Make sure to put a clean rag in the bottom of the throttle body to absorb the fluid.
Clean you IAC, Mine did the same thing, and a good shot of carb cleaner fixed me up.
Pull off your air cleaner, and inside the throttle body at the 12 o clock position, there is a hole. Get some carb cleaner and spray it good, you should spray it until the cleaner comes out clear. I got alot of black goop out of mine.
thanks for the information, I will try all suggestions. It's a on off problem. rode today and it acted up off and on. If I shut her off and she starts right back up and does good for a little while nad then back to the same old crap.
there is a older very long thread in here "07 idol issues",common causes, iac tps,tps adjuster screw(likes to back out),if you got a crank position sensor code thats were i would start.
