Default Harley LED yes or no?

I was thinking of going with the 7" headlight and 4"passing lamp kit. The thing is I don't really ride at night very much. Do they show up any better during the daytime? Are there any advantages if you don't ride at night,or would this just be wasting money? I do like the look, but for the money they're asking, looks alone it's not worth it.

I found this review to be pretty useful.

I put them on my Ultra. I too don't like driving much at night, and when traveling I try to be at the hotel by 6:00 pm. Sometimes things don't work as planned and we get caught riding at night. It's those times that I'm glad I have the LED lights. With my lights, I'm always in the lead at night.

I got the 7 and 4 inches LEDs. I will not ever have a bike without them again. The difference is night and day. I work shift work. Every three months I am either coming home at 4:30 in the morning or going to work at 3: 30 in the morning. I have cars on the opposite side of the four lane freeways flashing me their high beams. For half a mile down the road I see street lights. The view is like riding at day time. Spend the money you won’t be sad you did. Best upgrade and safety feature I have made on my scooter.

I've never seen them on a bike but on cars, when they're coming at you, it looks like their lights are on bright and it's irritating to me. But using them on a bike, I might have a different opinion because I hate night driving too.

I don't like to travel at night either, is is nice to have the LEDs as they are a noticeable improvement. I got a lot of my lighting second hand to save money and the stuff is still outrageously expensive. In short for the small amount of night riding I do I wouldn't bother or spend the money again to do it. But it will probably eat away at you ( like it did me ) until you finally find an acceptable price you'll give in and pay, daylight robbery !
