Been on the fence on the Daymakers last year. Finally gonna be in the 70s all this week and maybe 80 on Wednesday, so riding season is definitely here. Gonna have to pony up on the Daymaker reflectors this time around.
Mine's the latest Phase 7 'black' version and looks fine with frenched rim
Phase 7, LED bulbs($50 a pair) and custom dynamics turn signals much brighter than stock or even with a 100w bulb
Custom dynamics all round at the rear
To me LED's are a no-brainer
That light doesn't look like it fits. The trim ring looks too big?
I sold my 2010 Flhtk with Harley HiD. This setup was much better than my new Flktse Led lights. It is correct to state the Leds are good to be seen in plain day light but are not enough to see far at night: led light is very focused. it is not as wide as Hid. Led are ok in straight line but in turns the focused light does allow you to see far in the turn. You have a lot of dark spots, such as when riding hills or mountain roads. I understand this is not the most we ride but I had to report this when weighing pros and cons.

I'm not trying to judge but plug & play HID's are not DOT approved and are illegal in most states. Without the proper lens they through light everywhere and blind oncoming traffic. HD LED's and Truck-Lite's are DOT approved.
Went out first night after fitting and riding on low beam on a back road thought hey this light is pretty bright, then I clicked to high beam and WOW I thought I had a searchlight on the front of my bike, lit that road right up
