Last night when I was moving my bike back in the garage after my workout I noticed my right side control was loose and slipping off the handle bars, I tightened it up and it still kept slipping. It is slipping loss of the collar that holds the clutch lever. I looked under it and it looks like a small piece broke off the collar for the clutch lever.
Has anyone else seen this before and can it be fixed by just replacing the collar part of the piece. Also can you buy that piece by itself from a stealer

Your clutch is on the right?
Or do you mean the "other" right?
Yes you can buy that part..... the parts finder is down right now. But a parts guy at the dealer should be able to look it up for you. And actually, they may have one laying around from someone who went with chrome parts.
This might be your part number, depending on year 45138-08
