Battery removed - security system dead?
I disconnected my battery all the time with security and no problems. NOW, once I installed the SIREN, it's a different story. That's when you need to do the 'Ignition on (with FOB around), disconnect batter/remove fuse/whatever" and then the same thing when you reconnect power. If you try to do it without doing that, you're gonna get a loud and perhaps startling surprise. It makes no difference if you don't have a siren.

Here are the instructions I received:
- turn ignition ON
- remove the 40 Amp maxi fuse
- then disconnect the battery if you need to do so.
The alarm system is not activated so not affected.
It worked well for me when I installed the battery tender connections.
- leave ignition ON
- reconnect the battery
- reconnect the fuse
- switch OFF ignition
You're done.
- turn ignition ON
