Default New speakers

Just ordered the Hogtunes front speakers & tweeter pod for the Ultra Classic from Bikerhaven. Prices were good & they offered a 5% discount for new customers. Hope they are as easy to install as everyone on here leads me to believe. Looking forward to better sound when installed.

Don't know about the tweeter pod, but the fairing speakers are easy. Seven screws to remove the front fairing, three screws to remove for each speaker, disconnect and replace with new speakers, install same three screws per speaker and put the front fairing back on. 1 beer!
PS: Don't forget to install polyfil around each speaker inside the fairing before closing up. This will improve the sound of fairing speakers. Use 1" of polyfil to completely wrap each speaker, can get polyfil from a pillow or craft store.

A suggestion--you will still not be very happy with the setup until you put an amp in the loop. The difference is huge.

Tweeter pod is even easier than the fairing speakers - once you get over that little voice in your head telling you not to drill a hole in your inner fairing.

I'm thinkin' that this time of year ( at least here in Michigan ) I could turn a speaker install into a 12 pack job ... but ... that's just me!

there are many amps out there. If you want reasonably priced, check out the rockford fosgate pbr300x2 and the soundstream PN4.520d

All of them are good amps, just a matter of what you want to pay for that.

I just finished my Hogtunes install by adding the 70.2 amp to the rest of my hogtunes system. I now have all four speakers, tweeter pod driven by HT 40.4 amp lower woofers driven by the HT 70.2 amp just got back from a test ride and I think my ears are bleeding. Sounds awesome clean crisp clear and loud if you want it that way. I love it.
