I getting ready to sell my crotch rocket (Hayabusa) and move over to the more sophisticated side of riding. I'm looking to get an 07' RKS. What I need help with is the measurement of the largest area of width on the RK. Im guessing at the bags or handlebars depending on the bar style. My garage was converted in to a florida room and has a regular door in it. The Busa makes it through just fine. I just need to know if I'm gonna have to change the door or take the bags off just too get it in and out of the house.

And...I'm in Maryland (5% tax), is $18,700 OTD a good price?

H-D website should have the overall dimensions but I don't see it going thru a standard door.

 

Dont know about your door, but with the strike getting what you want is a crap shoot for awhile, but price sounds fair better snag it before its gone.

Thanks, guys. I don't know how true it is but Patriot HD in Fairfax, Va, claim that they are the largest dealer in the area and have approx $350 bikes in stock.

 

Did the same thing you are going to. Got rid of my Busa for my first Harley a few years ago. Haven't looked back since. You won't regret it. My first ride down the highway with the Harley pulling like a freight train was when I knew I made the right decision. Go grab that bike and enjoy.

Forget about it going through a standard doorway.

 

Over here in the UK, that would be snapped up at that price. $18,700 = £9,953.......an 07 bike likethatover here is £13,745 = $26,905
