Ape hangers???????

I am doing the inner fairing this week and went with yaffe 12" classic bagger apes, at first glance they feel really comfortable...can't wait to have all installed back on...I am primarily doing it for comfort but the looks are a plus...
I went to apes hoping for better comfort, but I didn't find it. They were terrible on my elbows. My sig pic shows my RK with 12.5" WO502s, but they are gone. Now running with Heritage style and not completely happy with them either, but much better than apes.

I just bought a Heritage. I have yet to ride it, actually I have yet to get it back from the dealer. I was going to put beach bars on it. The salesman asked if I had ever ridden a bike with apes. He told me to ride it awhile and get used to them. He swears that they are much more comfortable than lower bars. I will let you know when all this stupid snow melts.

I went with 14"Carlini apes from stock Superglide bars and they are much more comfortable hands no longer go to sleep and no more lower back pain. As for control was a little different pulling out of garage but after a couple miles was great.
