Thanks for all the help. Seems the majority are leading me towards the Mustang. It's great to get the help.

I just ordered a Mustang studded/solo seat with backrest this morning. I've owned both Corbin/Mustang seats and have had good luck with both. As far as customer service goes, I think Mustang is more at the top of their game. Here's a link for the super touring seat from the place where I bought mine from. 1st purchase from there but not expecting any issue. The seat is only a few $ more at Dennis Kirk and they're quite reputable. My seat was $70 less at below company than other place I saw. Good luck in your decision..

I should have mentioned I'm 6'5", 260...I really like the Mustang Super Touring Seat, especially since it gives me two more inches of leg room. My wife thought her portion of the seat (she is a skinny cracker-***..) was a little too firm, but she is getting used to it...

6-2 and about 300 also. My experience at our size, including the Mustang seats, is that after a while the softness of the seats had my tailbone resting on the plastic seat pan, not comfortable at all. I know they are expensive but the Corbin Dualtourer will do everything you have asked. The main reason being that the firmness of a Corbin keeps our big guy tailbones off the seat pan. Had mine for about five years and can not be happier. And my average size wife also loves it. Just my $0.02.

The Sundowner has a wider seat pan. My wife is 5'2" and 125 and she is fine but I have had some "bigger" passengers and it just doesn't work for very many miles.

P.S. My signature picture is the stock seat.
I am 6'2" (with long legs) and 220. I have the Tallboy which is modeled on the Sundowner but moves you 2" back. My wife is also petite, so I didn't mind stealing the space from her. It is MUCH more comfortable than the stock seat for both of us. I've put over 17,000 miles on it so far and still like it.
