Another audio thread........
So I have used the search, didnt find the exact info I need. Posted in the audio section, doesnt seem to be much traffic there. So here we are. Ok. Here we go. I have a 11SG, stock HK, hogtunes tweeter pod, hogtunes 5.25's, and hogtunes 24x2. I have ordered the PBR300x2 to replace the 24x2, and J&M rokkers to replace the 5.25. My question is with the rokkers being 2ohm and the tweeter pod being 6ohm, what is going to be the best way to wire it all up? Not sure if i can wire the tweeter pod in safely with the amp and staying safe. Is this possible? Or, can the 2 outputs from the HK both be split into 2 more outputs so that I have 2 left and 2 right? Then I have inputs for the PBR and for the tweeter pod? Just want to make sure everything is right before something goes wrong. Thanks in advance.
That's the best I can come up with.
It's been mentioned on this forum that the rear channels on the stock HK work on the Street Glide, but you do not have the ability to fade. You don't need that ability. Use the front channel to use for the signal to the amp and use the rear for the speaker pod.
That's the best I can come up with.

Now we're talking!!! So the HK only needs to be flashed for the fade control? Sounds like the rear outputs are the answer. Thanks pioneer74

Ok. One more question. Again, tried the search, and after skimming through about 50 pages, I cannot find this answer. Does anyone know which wires are which for the rear speaker L + - and R + - ? I found the front output but not the rear. I will keep looking in the meantime. Thanks
Why bother finding the rear outputs? The Hogpod comes with Y-connector wires, which are meant to split the output from your amp, to feed both the main speakers and the tweeters. Instead, use these Y-connectors on the front speaker outputs from the HK headunit. This way you will send one set of signals to the tweeters straight from the HK, and the second set will feed the amp, and then on to the main speakers. You will need to cut off one pair of ends from the Y-connector to feed into the amp, but this should work.
This was my first thought, only I would split the left and right to both the tweeter pod and the amp so that I would have left and right on both of them, not just left to one and right to the other. Wanted to make sure there was enough power coming from the front outputs to run both.
