Hey everyone just looking for a bit of input. I got 7 accent lights for my 2013 SG is there any info on the best place to mount them for best look? I have looked around and have a pretty good idea but i figured there are enough bikes out there with lights that some of you are bound to know what to do and not to do any info would be awesome!
i have 2 on each underside of the tank, 1 under the horn, 1 under the a/c, and 1 behind the motor on the large flat area facing the engine. I will also have 1 on each saddle bag rail and 1 on each caliper in the near future
I just went to the auto parts store and got some blue led flex strips... they look almost like clear tape with little led lights in em. I got some 8 inch ones and some 24 inch ones. I put a 24 under each side of the gas tank and also a 24 on the inside of each saddle bag bottom support rail. Put 2 8 incers on either side of the flat area at the back of the motor right under the seat, an 8 incher on the inside of the horn cover, an 8 incher on the bottom of the frame backbone right behind the coil and 8 inchers on either side inside the head light nacelle right in front of the fork tubes. Then i made a wiring harness and ran everything under the tank and back under the seat and wired it to the aux plugin in the harness so the aux switch turns on the led lights. The picture below is with just the engine lit up, i hadn't put the ones in the nacelle or under the bags yet. And since i have, i haven't taken new pictures.

Specifically, where is the aux plugin in the harness found?

I have Magic Wizard Lights with remote control on my SG. I have 13 pods and it looks great. Call Custom Dynamics and get their recomendations. I put mine on myself. I took my time and it took me about 2 nights (8 hours) to do it up right. Not one single light is mounted to an area that would interfere with a machanic working on my bike. Not a single wire shows. I would do it for others but I'd have to charge 10K...You can remove AC and it does not matter. fenders, no worries, saddlebages, are you kidding? no one touches my lights. I got wizard magic lights because of all the options. They were not cheap...but what hanging on a Harley is? Good luck
Seeking a authorized Custom Dynamics Magic Wizard Light installer in PA/Phila area or near-by DE/NJ to install custom set-up on my new 13' Street Glide.
I had my 09' Dyna Super Glide completed with an unbelievable custom Magic Light package with strobes, morphing and steady remote package at the OCMD Bike Fest in 12'. Installer was meticulous. Would prefer not waiting until Sept to have the SG completed. If no one here knows of a local dealer, I might have to call the manufacture for dealer reps in my area (thought I would check here first).
