I went to the local harley shop a couple a weeks ago and demo'd the 7 inch windsplitter. It looked great on the bike and felt okay but naturally not as good as the stock full windshield. Unfortunately, I did not get my wife to try it out with me before I bought it. We rode Saturday night for the first time and she fussed the entire way. The wind was really catching her. I went back to Harley today and demo'd the 10 inch wind splitter and also the Harley hammock seat. The seat sits lower for the passenger so my wife isn't up as far. Test ride with wife and no fussin'. Now to buy the 10 incher and sell the 7 incher. The 10 inch windsplitter worked great. I also really like the hammock seat. I bought one from a 2010 CVO off ebay with heat about a month ago. I liked it except it was a little tall for me. Then I found out they made them an inch shorter in 2011. so, I sold the 2010 seat and I reckon I'll have to shell out the cash for a new hammock. I really like the way it sits. Once I get all this stuff done, I can direct my attention to some better fun this spring like putting a mild cam in the bike.
You are right about that... I will keep the 7 for solo rides as it makes the bike look better and use the 10 for the dual rides... It's going to be hot in south Alabama before I know it, and I'll be wanting more air...
