Question Windscreen advice - rider plus passenger

I have a Street Glide that I've been "touring up". I currently have the lower fairings (that clamp to the engine guards) and a 9" Wind Vest windshield.

I'm 5'9" and wear a full-face helmet most of the time. I have a Mustang Sport Touring seat (very similar to stock heights I think).

The stock 4" screen (without the lower fairings) was horrible. The buffeting blurred my vision and hurt my head.

I tried a 6" Wind Vest and it was way better. But I still had a bit too much buffeting at highway speed, plus a huge vacuum making the front of my jacket puff out.

The 9" Wind Vest with lower fairings works really well for me. No buffeting at all up to around 50-60mph, then it increases slowly until at around 70mph it's there again. But livable - I can even ride with my face shield open if I'm wearing sunglasses. It's about the tallest I'd want to go - I still look over it, but just barely, except when cresting even a very slight hill.

But...

My girlfriend (who loves riding with me, and I love having her back there (free should massages!)) hates the buffeting she's getting at anything over 50mph. She's only ridden with the 9" WV and lowers. She's 5'4" and also wears a full-face helmet.

So, what can I do here?

Should I try a "curvy shield" like the LRS Stealth or Klock Werks Flare? If so, what size? Should I get those little fairing "wings"? Should I maybe go back to the 6" Wind Vest now that I have the lower fairings?

(The pic in my sig is the 6" WV and pre-lowers.)

Thanks for any input!
Greg
