They look like they would work, but (even though they are pretty thick) they appear a little small/flimsy to me . Especially compared to some of the name brand kits like burly. IMO id spring for a name brand that is proven and has a beefier design... maybe im just a little paranoid about the parts that are holding the suspension together on my 800lb touring bikes though?
Bought them three years ago...been on my bike ever since...NO PROBLEMS what so ever...you pick the degree of lowering...you have to run more psi in your shocks though since they have a shorter span to travel..just my opinion

These are great if you like bottoming out your suspension all the time. These take you suspensions 3" of travell and reduce it to 1.5". I had to take them off after my saddle bags blew open after hitting a bump. If you are a poser at your local coffee shop these are fine, If you ride alot they suck.
I tried a set. Piece of $#!I. Bottoming out over next to nothing as far a bump on the road.
I had a hard time to adjust the hard bags to clear the shocks as you move the shocks outward when these crappy brackets are installed..
Dont do it. Get a reach seat. That will get ya lower and still have full suspension travel.
You will thanks us all later.
I have a set of Burleys, been on the RK sence 03, put a set of the same Burleys on the 09 EG. No problems no bottoming. Only thing I here is "it's better to buy MY lowered shocks @ $$$$$!
$119 per set, buy a name brand and ride. Snock lowering kits do work if it's not a RKC.
