Sometimes I wish I had a tach! I have a hard time gauging about where my RPMs are at. I have never hit any kind of rev limiter and know the feel of lugging but I often wish I knew where I was in the power band and what RPM that I typically cruise at. That would help identify which cam set I should choose. But I doubt I will buy one any time soon. I don't like the idea of one just clamped onto my bars and the type that bolts to the front of the speedometer would get in the way of my windshield. Guess I should have went with a Powervision instead of PCV
The tac / speedo is pricey, but one of my favorite upgrades. 20% off a surdyke
Very cool!! And not too pricey, if you calculate what you have to pay for a Tach set-up and mount!
Also, I'm sure the install is much quicker/easier than the new tach added on - I know, I've done this!
