Ok I see lots of different stretched bags on the market and evereyone says they have the best but I would like to hear from some of you that have bought them and what you like or dont like about yours
I'll have to export in about a week, I just bought the stretched bags from Fat Baggers. I've looked at a lot and these look as good as others like sinister and bad dad. I got these cause I also got their fender, and figured they should go together well. Plus, I spent a ton of time with them out in Sturgis to fully understand the fitment and quality, as well as see them on a few bikes at their tent.
Hopefully they end up being what I think they are.
I have yaffe's on my bike which are the same as arlen ness's bags. I chose them because of the lines on them, thought the styling was the nicest. I also put a yaffe fender on my bike so I wanted to go with the same maker for bags so I'd know the exhaust cut outs would line up for sure. They aren't the abs bags, made out of fiberglass but they are real nice. They are also a littler heavier but I'm happy with my choice.

I went through the same thing --- looking at all of them, trying to research what was made the best, ABS plastic or Fiberglass, etc. I ended up with Fairing Factory's new 5" stretched bags, because a guy I know is a dealer for them, and I knew I was getting good ones. They're being painted now, and don't even have them on yet. Looking forward to it though!
Well I just finished up my fender & bag change last week, and went with bad dad! Quality excellent! Finish Excellent, Fitment Excellent! Price>Expensive
You have to no matter which brand you buy spend time doing alignment and small technical work to space the bags evenly from the fender and exhaust!
Well, since no one has mentioned ours, I figured I'd throw my hat in the ring Our Smoothies are a bit different, have their own lids (outward opening), hidden hinges and recessed top latch.
With the lids included, you don't need to use your old lids. While this means our bags will then be a bit more expensive than some, it allows you to recoup some of that cost by selling your old bags as a complete set.
We've got a sale going on right now too. 100 bucks off.
Good luck with your shopping. There are a lot out there!
I too have just started doing extensive research on these, I'm in the Top Shop corner also. I guess customer reviews/and personal preference were the reason I liked them the best. I would like to get to these after the apes and chrome controls. The different lines in the bags are nice. I plan on that and a fender combo from Top Shop in the very near future!
