Both are similar and come with different size baffels; would like to hear from riders who have run either or both and which one they like the best. I'm looking for a set of pipes with a little rumble above stock that won't make my ears ring after riding out on the open road or a long run.
i just put on the rush with 1 3/4 baffles. love the low tones but it's been too cold for me to really try them out. i ran about 8 miles with them in the bitter cold. i was so bundled up i can't really give an opinion yet. it sounds damn good though.
Rush with 2.25' baffles is the best. Not too loud that you can't hear the radio but loud enough that the cagers will know you are near. Can't go 2.50' baffles for '07s. The techs said it wouldn't allow enough back pressure.
Rush with 2.5". I ride two up with the better half about 70% of the time, with no compliants from her at all. Nice deep sound, not too loud when cruising, but lound enough when needed.
Here is a sound clip pf the Rolling thunder. I did 1k around Lake Michigan and I have to tell you they are nice but I want more so I am looking for the TREX.......
