iPod Connectivity - Lightning Connector
Anyone navigated using a current generation iPod with "Lightning" connector to the 30 pin cable connector sold by Harley?
Interesesting side note - in trying to research this on line I discovered Apple paid Harley for the trademark "Lightning" - which was a Buell model name.

Guess I need more info. I use my Iphone 5 which has the lightening connector on my street glide with the usb cord that came with the phone into a cigarette lighter converter plug. I also have the lightening to 30 pin adapter that allows you to use the old style cords and devices with your new Iphone. It works well just adds length to your phone. Not sure I gave you any useful info.

I have the adaptor and have not noticed any functional issues with my legacy devices. They also make a short cable adaptor if you are tight for space

Keeping an eye on this thread. I've been debating upgrading to an iPhone 5 from my 4 and was wondering if the adapter cable that Apple sells will work with the iPod connection kit on my Glide which has a 30 pin dock connector on it. I was hoping HD would come out with a new cable section that had a Lightning end on it, but haven't seen one yet.

I used an Ipod Nano 7 (the newest model) with the Lightning to 30 pin adapter with Harley Ipod connection and had no problems.
