I recently did the free mod to have the passing
Lights in with high or lo beam. The mod I performed
Was switching the wires in switch panel. Now
It pops the head/tail fuse and bam no head it tail
Light. I am gonna swap em back any ideas why
The fuse is now blowong

Almot without exception when you blow a fuse it is because it is shorting to ground somewhere. I would check that first

Hmmmmm I am a car technician for a living and
Didn't have a problem with the fuse blowing
Prior to this mod. It does have a new headlight
Harness spliced in with but connectors and
I am gonna swap this to a soldered joint

By no means am I electrically smart, but the way these things vibrate I don't think solder is the way to go. I'd go with some type of connector...

I thought soldering was the only way..:-)

The plugs on the new harness might have some wires crossed. It's been known to happen.

Isn't it illegal for aux lights to operate when hi beam is on?

In PA it is and they require inspections once a year and they will fail you if they notice this.

Of course I haven't had my bike inspected in a couple years now
