Hey guys,
The new WO578 bars got here and I was wanting some opinions on grips. I have never upgraded the grips on any of my bikes so I am not sure what is good/ comfertable/ durable. I know I am wanting black grips and I love the throttle boss that I have now but what do you know recommend? Avon Air Cushion, PM, etc.... I am open for suggestions and stories.
Thanks,

The H-D Nostalgic Collection grip is by far the most comfortable grip I have ever used. It is black and is not neccessarily stylish (although it worked with my old school RK), but it is comfortable for a long ride.
I really like the Kuryakin ergonomic grips[look like the Avons] on my softail, but they are a little bit too big around with gloves on. The kuryakin type throttle boss works great-doesn't get in the way when you back off the throttle like the cheapo black plastic throttle boss does.
I had PM grips and the chrome wore off of the ends where my hands rest on them after a season and a half. I just bought a set of Avon grips from easternperformance and they seem to be better quality than the PM's I had. Just my opinion but for my money the Avons are less than half the cost of the PM's and look just as good if not better. I am not a fan of anything Kuryakan makes.
I think the HD" Get a Grip" is not only very comfortable but great looking.. Looks like the PM, RS at about half the cost
I just had these put on over the winter to replace my stock grips which made my hands ache after awhile. I have only ridden about 45 minutes for the first time this year today, but initial feel is pretty good. From what I hear slightly larger grips create less fatigue. They also look pretty nice.
I like the Avon products..I have the custom contour grips and my wife has the air cushion ones on her bike..I like the both..I had the Get a grips on a previous bike and last I checked Harley does not make anything to match them(shifter pegs..etc..)
Now is the time to consider heated grips which will help to zero-in on the style... IMO the HD Nostalgic has a great feel/classic-clean-unpretentious look...
