Just finished a Stage 1 on the bike and flashed the preloaded tune from the Powervision. Bike runs and sounds great. Took it down the street a couple miles and other than a couple of pings at lower rpm decelerating, or at least I think it might be pinging, the Steed ran like a beast. Heard a distinct metal hitting metal sound two times like a small stone hitting the heat shield, but at the time wasn't sure if it was the dreaded ping or the new heat shields expanding from the heat. Roads were a little wet also.
I want to try the basic Autotune this weekend, but the only manual that came with the Powervision was the small Quick setup guide. No full manual. For 5 bills you would think Dynojet would include a two dollar manual. Can't call FM till tomorrow when they're open.
How do I read up on all of the features that the PV offers beyond the basic quick step guide? I mostly want to set the bike up for an Autotune run for the weekend. Searched through PV threads for over an hour and couldn't find what I eas looking for.

You can go online and download the complete manual. There are also videos to show you everything. Go to FuelMoto or DynoJet's website and get all the info you need.
Thanks guys, found the download. Guess I was looking on the wrong page on FM's site. Doh!
Do any of you think the ping sound was maybe the heat shields "settling" and not the motor? Didn't hear it again but wasn't on the bike long. Wet roads, new exhaust that hasn't had the chrome heated for the first time yet and was worried about etching water spots on the chrome.
First thing I noticed was the motor was "inviting" me to shift at 4000 to 4500 rpm instead of the usual 3 to 3500. Was difficult maintaining traction on the wet roads, maybe a little throttle happy, lol.
Love this site!
The 12s have a tendency to ping. I'd say read the manual, do some tuning runs, I've seen a lot of posts where doing this has eliminated or reduced pinging

Connect the device to your computer/laptop. Use the PV Update client to make sure you have the latest firmware, software, database updates, etc etc etc.
Thanks K. I will definitely do some tuning runs now that I've got all the info I was looking for. Temps here will be about 20 degrees cooler than normal, hope it doesn't make much of a difference in the Autotune adjustment from the normally sweltering heat and humidity we have here.
