our shop is actually in Woodstock, i live in Elgin ... right now i have about a 6 bike wait list for drop off (full labor and powder done) and them pick up... being that your local, if you can wait a few weeks depending what you want done we can plan it out and i can have a 1 or 2 day turn around for you. also if it is easier on you we can arrange drop off in Elgin as well. always willing to help out my customers

Shop's in Woodstock? Nice. Straight up 14 to 47 I'm assuming. Ok cool. I'll have to take a look at what I would like powder coated. I can definitely wait. It wouldn't be much to powder coat. Awesome. Thanks.

Hope this isn't a stupid question but here goes. How do the powder coated parts hold up compared to the chrome? These things get fairly hot and over time does the powder coating dull?

if done right VERY VERY well! only time powder will dull is if it is not properly coated, or used in the wrong application, the powder we use on bikes is UV save (what causes dulling) if not we will use a UV safe clear over the color to protect it... but in most cases the clear is not required and it holds up really really well. Besides we stand behind all our work

- primary cover
- trans covers
- cam cover
- rocker boxes
- pushrod tubes/lifter block

seems like there's more down there that this... once i get it apart, i'll shoot you for a price and see if my shipping cost is worth it.
