Default Engine build question

I have a 2012 streetglide with the 103. I have a heavy breather, d and d exhaust, screaming eagle super tuner on the bike. I am going to a bigger cam shaft and the question that I have is which one. I have decided its either the tw-777 or tw-888. If I do the 888 bob woods said I would need to go to the 107 next winter. They are going to do adjustable pushrods and lifters at the same time as the cam. Just want to know if there is any suggestions on which is better. Thanks

Both of those cams are too much for a stock compression engine, if you're dead set on those cams you might as well wait until you have the $$ to do it right. The andrews 57s or the T-man 555 torqster are both good bolt in cams & both will outrun either of the Woods cams unless you bump up the CR.

I hear the 888 like 101/2 to 1. Go with the 107 and the 777 or 555 good relieble hp, call FM.

x2 If ya just like the lope and don't care about performance then go for it? But, You will never come close to the potential of the 777/888 without +compression, serious head work and bigger intake. Then ya can worry about crank failure??? I'm a fan of Andrews 57 in a stage 1 103. It is about all (maybe more) the cam the stock heads and compression can use, especially in a bagger.

Thanks for the info. They are gonna charge me 1100 for the cam install. I will call them and see what it will be for the whole 107 kit. If i can get the whole thing done for under 2000 I think I will just go for that. Thanks for the info.

From what I have read Woods pushes the envelope with the design of his cams and they really deserve being installed as part of a package, so that CR and head porting match up with each other. However if it is Bob himself doing your install, we should trust him to do it just right! He is also the best person to advise on which cam is best for you and your bike......
