Default Vented lowers help

I picked up a set of factory H-D vented fairings, and bought all new mounting hardware. On the throttle side of the bike I am having a problem getting it mounted. It also seems like the rear master cylinder is in the way. Does anyone have any advice?

I just installed a set of lowers on my 08 FLHX, The lowers contact the rear master cylinder ever so slightly. I used some 3/8" self adhesive foam tape on the front on the master cylinder and the snugged up the lowers, this way there won't be any rattle, or paint damage. So far so good.

It takes a bit of fiddling to get the lower on the crash bar at the top and the lower part interior to the rear master cylinder. I've had mine off and on a couple of times and always have to fiddle a bit mounting the right side. Just be patient and don't force anything--it will go on. The left side is much, much easier to install.

He's right, just take your time and be patient. At first I thought mine where not going to fit properly.
