Guys I am new to HD forum. I bought a new 2012 Ultra Classic in June of 2012. It is black with a gray pinstripe. I really want to customize it and make it look sweet but I haven't seen a lot of examples of products for an ULTRA CLASSIC. Any advice?
I am already doing that right now. I am just having a rough time envisioning what I want my bike to be. I am thinking about a blacked out look. I only bought an Ultra because the wife rides a lot and a SG meant buying a tour pak and a bunch of other things to make her comfortable.
u can make the tour pack removable, and add a solo seat remove lowers (for short trips) do some dechroming, add some bars.dont be in a hurry do some rallies and bike shows get some ideas on where u want to go first.
Make it your own. I started by adding a little chrome and taking stuff off. Wife likes to ride in comfort too so a tour pack detach is a must. Front fender and sound system are next.
Stage 1 kit (air breather, race tuner, and pipes), the module that makes the front head light blink high to low in the day time, module that allows your running lights to stay on while high beams on, rear turn signal to brake light conversion, quick detach tour pak, hidden CB and RADIO antenna, new grips, shorter windshield, three pouch windshield bag, highway pegs, tour pak slider to give her more leg room (5' 10" tall), and last but not least swapped out the front speakers for boom audios!
I really want to give it a custom look because most of what I have done are for safety or rider comfort. I am thinking some new wheels eventually.
I need to go to some bike shows, swap meets, and just some vendor tents at bike week to get some ideas.
My Bike is in storage right now and I don't have any recent pictures so when I get it back I will put them up!
Go to ebay and search ultra classic. When you get through all 3000+ pages report back on the ideas you got. I'm not saying strictly buy there, but you will get so many ideas your head just might explode.

Thanks! Now I have something to do at "work"!
I definitely do that but just can't wrap my head around an idea that looks somewhat original.
I am 27 and my buddies have been giving me hell for buying a "geezer glide" since the first day I brought it home. I am actually on ebay right now!

I like the idea of doing rallies. I am going to order the quick detach for the lowers and solo seat today! I ride the crap out of my bike (15-20k a year) any ideas for brand of seat? I might dechrome the saddle bags when I get it back from storage, damn Ohio weather.
1. Get rid of those nasty chrome saddlebag protector things, order the parts to leave your saddlebags looking free.
2. Saddlebag bolt kit.
3. Push-button fuel door opener that doesnt need a key to get gas.
4. Remove the heel shifter and install cap on shift spline.
5. Custom paint job, how much $ do you want to spend the options are endless.
6....or just leave it as it is and ride.
