Anybody put a 12V Power outlet in Tour Pak, if so where and how did you connect? Looking at added one to my 07 Ultra Classic to charge phone etc, also to use for a rear viewing camera.
I connected to the accessory plug but reversed wires so always on. I used the 12v accessory outlet that comes with the plug to use with the accessory plug
My 2010 Ltd came with one in the tour pak. If I were installing one myself, there is no doubt that I would use some #12 stranded wire and go directly to the battery. Remember to install a fuse in the positive line as well. I would use a 15 or 20 amp automotive fuse. No use going to the trouble if you cant use it for a portable air compressor or other higher current drawing devices. Anyway, that's how I would do it.

There is a kit to do this like the Limited's now: 91671-10
With that being said, I don't really have the need for a power port but I do have a need for USB charging ports. I went with the Blue Sea USB dual port unit.
I installed it in the saddlebag until I can run some wiring to the TP. Had a charge port in the Bagger Tray in the saddlebag already and replaced it.
I bought Harley's ACC plug that is meant to go from the Accessory plug under the seat to a side cover. Lengthened the harness to take it into the tour pak. Installed the plug in the right rear corner of the tour pak liner. I like that it's not on unless the bike is.
Istalled the Hd power outlet in the right front of tour pak, kit comes with everything you need to install to acc plug or directly to battery under the seat.
I just bought a 12v power outlet from the store for like $8, then wired it to the wires that were already in the tour pak under the liner. Then just bolted it to the liner on the left side at the front of the bike(when your facing the back of bike) Tried to upload pic, but it keeps saying upload failed.
