My buddy has a Kury curved as well although his attaches to the bottom of the turn signal bracket on his 06 FLHX.

This is mine...

I put this same one on my rocker after the factory junk completely failed (same as tail lights...junk). The new one is MUCH brighter also, making the back of the bike more visible to dumb bunny texters...There is even enough room behind the plate to hide/secure the wiring connection. The curve makes it hug the fender. Nice and reasonably priced.
